Across Tameside, 1,367 people were injured or killed in these collisions. Pedestrians were 19% of casualties (14% across Great Britain), pedal cyclists 10% (12%) and motorcyclists 9% (12%). Car and taxi occupants made up 59%. 16 of the pedestrians were killed.
